- Michael, where is your father really at?
- I told you my father is in Florida with my uncle who is very ill, why wont you believe me?
- Mrs. Cora is walking back to her apartment when Ramon steals her purse! Fortunately Michael stopped him with his baseball.
- We need a birth certificate, until then you can't play on theteam.
- Papi is dying but he doesn't want anyone to know except the priest. He only wants Mrs. Cora to keep his two sons together
- Hi Papi!
- Hey,Miguel, my son!
- Mr. Gibbs comes up to Michael and talks to him about his father. Michael, as he tells everyone that asks, tells Mr. Gibbs that his father is just away with his uncle that is very ill.
- Michael receives the news from his coach that he cant play on the team anymore, Michael is really sad about this.
- The boys have Uncle Timo dress up as Papi so he can talk with Mr. Gibbs so the boys can continue to live togehter.
- Mr . Minaya lets Michael play third, its not considered as being in the game so Michael is not breaking the rules.
