- In the kingdom of North India called Kapilavastu, King Shudhodana who belong to Sakya clan ruled the kingdom with his wife Queen Mahamaya. One night queen Mahamaya has a dream.
- What happened dear? You are saying something?
- I have a dream A divine dream! The sky was filled with white light and a bunch of rays became a white elephant with six tusks and it entered my womb.
- Months rolled by, Queen Mahamaya gave birth to a noble prince while standing and holding onto a branch in the Lumbini park . The infant took seven steps, and a lotus grew out of the ground to receive the future Buddha. The infant arose pointing one finger to the heavens and one to the earth declaring, In the heavens and on the Earth, I am the most venerable teacher of Gods and men. This is my last birth on earth.
- The king and Queen name the infant Siddharta. On the next day , a great Sage Astria went to blessed the birth of Siddharta. As he blessed Siddharta, Sage told the king that his son is no ordinary child.
- I am sure he will grow up to be more than a great man.
- On becoming of age, the Prince became famous and was loved by everyone. Prince Siddharta compete with other princes to make Yashodora his bride. The 1st contest is archery, 2nd is sworsmanship, and lastly is horseriding. Though there were many skilled contestants Prince Siddharta excelled in sportsmanship and marry Yashodora.
- Prince Siddharta went for a trip. On his 1st trip, he saw an old man. On his 2nd trip he saw a sick man lying on the floor. On his 3rd trip he saw an old dead man being carried by the people who are crying. And the 4th sight signified the means to overcome the ills of time and attain calm and peace.
- Prince Siddharta went to another place where he could relax. As he sat under a tree he saw an earthworm thrown out. A small frog hopped down and ate the eartworm. A snake which was there in a bushed gulpe the frog. An eagle swooped down and grabbed tha snake and flew away.
- What suffering each creature go through? I do not like to see this sad and miserable existence in this world.
