  • Hi there! I am Olivia the iguana. To survive I have to change colors according to where I am.
  • I am Juana an iguana as well. This is adaptation, which means that a specie, like ours is able to change over time in order to keep existing in our environment.
  • I am Fer, a fly as well and yes! There are so many flies because this is called survival of the fittest.
  • Hello! I am Rick, a mosquito. Have you seen that there are many, many, many flies in the jungle?
  • I am Tom. This explains why there are soooo many mosquitos.
  • Hi! I am Juan.We are organisms which are really well adapted. And this term mentioned by Fer means that animals which are most adapted to their environment are most successful to reproduce and survive.
  • Hi! I am Max, a human. And humans like me used to look like this before. This is called biological evolution.
  • This term refers to a small or large change that we may or may not notice. It is a change in population that it is inherited over a lot of generations.
  • We are his parents. Notice how my child has my blond hair and her skin color?
  • I am Joe, and this is called heredity, which is the passing of traits from parents to offspring. In this case, they are the parents and I am the offspring.
  • We are birds. I am Paco and when we gain new traits there is a mutation being successful.
  • I am Jhon and a mutation is analteration in the genetic material of a cell of a living organism. It can be transmitted through generations. For example, different wings that grow.
  • Anyways, we are all living organisms, and what we just showed you are five mechanisms of evolution, which help us survive and be able to reproduce and change over time. BYE!!!
