the stamp act was one of the many acts put in place during the early rebellion, later in 1770 the boston massacre happens when a angry mob attack a solder on guard duty, later shots were fired against the rioters and outrage spread around the colonies, leading up to the lexington and concord.

in june 15 1775 the american army was formed under the command of general Gorge Washington, who served in the french and indian war. on the 17 of june 1775, the battle of bunker hill broke out, but washington was not there. in jan of 1776 he ended the siege of boston and set up base in new york.

The musket could shoot up to 300 feet, but some battles in the war the distance of fighting was farther. the musket took 2-3 rounds per minute to reload. the goal of warfare then wasn't to get the most kills, but to drive the enemy from the battlefield
