- Abby we have to hurry! Now is not the time to think about what happened to John! We lost them for now but they will eventually find us if we don't pick up the pace!
- None of that matters now. Make haste and let us go to the coast.
- I'm running as fast as I can, How far are we from the coast. Where are we going anyway? How do you know there will be a ship big enough for us?
- I’ve heard people in the town square talking about ships passing by our coast coming from the old world.
- Mercy what is that? We can sell it to get a start in Boston!)
- No way! This pendant is a family heirloom and it is the only thing I will have that represents my past in Salem. I will hold onto this for dear life and if someone wants it they will have it over my dead body.
- Oh what does it matter Mercy! This is our one and only chance to escape! We must convince them by any means necessary!
