So when our environment or diet changes, our bodies change too?

Yes! Evolution isn’t just about gaining traits and sometimes, it’s about losing what’s no longer useful.
Like how whales adapted to water, and humans lost tails?
Exactly. That’s how natural selection works. Small mutations that help a species survive get passed on over generations.

And vestigial structures are one of the coolest chapters. They’re living proof that we’re all connected by change.
