- Jessica in the office of the shop steward
- It is illegal to to pay an employee less than the minimum wage. Also you have been paid less than what you agreed. Thank you Jessica. I will get in contact with your manager tomorrow morning.
- Good day Mr Johnson. Thank you for your time. I am here to discuss a complaint against you.

- Good day Abigail. Oh I see. Is this perhaps about Jessica? She accused me of paying her the wrong rate , but i didnt take much note of her.
- Yes it is aboiu Jessica. Please read through her contract and I also brought her payslips for the two weeks. You paid her R20.75 instead of R35.00

- Oh i actually see my mistake. I was also overloaded with work for 3 months.and I paid her an old wage which was not meant for her.
- In this scene, the shop steward explained to Jessica that it is illegal to get paid less then the minimim wage according to the act.

- Let me call her right now. Hi Jessica. How are you? I went through your contract and saw I made a mistake with your pay rate. I apologize Jessica. I will ensure your outstanding amount is paid in with your next wage. Is that fine?
- In this scene, Abigail is telling Jessica's manager why she is seeing him.
- Jessica is happy about the news she is getting
- Hi Mr Johnson. Yes that is fine and thank you very much. Goodbye Mr Johnson.
- Thank you Mr Johnson for sorting this error out on Jessica's payslip. We do not want unhappy employees.
- In this scene, the manager admits he made a mistake.
- Thank you Abigail. I agree. I am just glad that it did not go to the next level of management. From no onwards I will check properly.
- In this scene, Jessica's manager is calling her infront of the shop steward.
- In this scene, Jessica talks to her manager and is happy that the manager will rectify her wages.
- In this scene, The shop steward and the manager agrees he made a mistake and the manager said he will confirm to prevent such errors.He is also happy they manage to sort it out. Error is rectified and Jessica remains happy.
