- Romeo visits Friar Laurence in his cell. Romeo asks him if he can marry him and Juliet. He is shocked that Romeo moved on fast from Rosaline. Friar Laurence agrees to marry them because he thinks it will stop the fight between the Capulets and the Montagues.
- Act 2, Scene 3
- I love the daughter of Lord Capulet. I love her, and she loves me. We are meant to be. I am begging you, marry us today.
- Wow! I am suprised on how quickly you moved on from Rosaline! Oh, how many tears you cried for her. I will agree to marry you guys because I think it will turn the hatred between your families to love.
