- Halku came in asking Munni for money
- Halku hands in the money to the landlord
- Jabra followed Halku to the feild
- halku asked munni to pay the landlord . Munni said to pay after the harvest because he has to buy a blanket to survive the cold night. Halku said that if he does not pay the landlord then I have to put up to the abuse. So munni gave him the money
- He looked back to see at the skies
- Halku took the money and went outside he looked as if he were tearing his heart out and giving it away because he'd saved the rupees from his work for the blanket. Today he was going to give it away.
- Halku lit a fire
- Jabra followed Halku to the felid but halku didn't want him to come with him because it was a cold night and halku didn't have anything except an old torn blanket with him.
- Munni woke up Halku
- An hour passed by, how much of the night was still left! The Dipper had not yet climbed the sky. Night would last another three hours or so.
- When Halku couldn't bear the cold anymore he lit a fire and kept himself warm. He later heard the noises of bluebucks but thought no animal could dare enter the field because of Jabra and fell asleep.
- Halku woke up to Munni shouting at him. She told her about how the whole felid was ruined because of his irresponsibility. Halku sought an excuse and told he nearly died and all she cared about are the crops. They walked till the edge of their land and Munni's face was shadowed with grief but Halku was content.
