- The proclamation of 1763 was issued by the British on October 7th, 1763. It created a boundary line. It forbid settlers to pass the line in order to keep things in order for Great Britain. The line was between the Appalachian Mountains. The settlers were very angry.

- The Sugar act was tax on sugar and many other products that started in April 5, 1764. It was to end smuggling of molasses. Also to provide income. Another reason for it was to pay the debt from the French and Indian war. The sugar act was harmful to many.
- Boston Massacre, 1770
- The stamp act was a requirementthat all papers and legal documents required a stamp. This was issued October 7th, 1765. Every paper the colonist had was taxed by the British. Many of the colonist were angry because the British didn'task them about it. Many of the colonist held riots and burned stamps because of how angry they were.

- The Townshend acts were laws by the British Government in 1767. This mean they were now putting taxes on glass, paint, lead, tea and much more. The colonist being taxed on these things once again made them angry. They protested and boycotted. Theyfelt as it was unfair.

- The Boston Massacre happened on March 5, 1770. It was a riot between British and townspeople. Throwing snowballs, sticks, and stone was all apart of it. It all happened when colonists attack a British soldier. The fight then led to more people joining in.
- The Boston Tea Party happened on December 16th, 1773. British was in debt so they decided to tax American colonists. Since American colonist were angry with the British they decided to dump 342 tea's in the harbor. After the tea was thrown out the British were very angry and a fight began.
