- Saint Augustine was born in a small town in North Africa to a Christian mother, St. Monica, and a pagan father.
- Augustine was an active child, competitive and smart, but lazy in his studies. He was much more interested in games and stealing pears from a neighbor's tree than in Latin grammar.
- Augustine should be the one to get the pears!
- Look at the delicious looking pears!!
- Is the basket ready?
- Come, lets get some!!
- After grabbing the pears from the tree. The owner saw them stealing, but the group laughed and ran away.
- Hey, what are you kids doing?! Come back here!
- The night on the same day, Augustine couldn't sleep, because he felt guilty of the action he did earlier. On the next day, he continued to do the same action again, and again.
- When he became an adolescent at the age of 17, after his father's death. He went to Carthage to continue his education in Rhetoric.
- As a youth, he sought different life experiences. Between the ages of 19 and 28, Augustine forms a relationship with unnamed woman who, though faithful, is not to his lawfully wedded wife, with whom he has a son.
- Presented him with a baby named Adeodatus.
- This is Adeodatus, our baby boy.
