- Hey, did you hear? Phil Davis got evicted.
- Two guys meet on the street after one of them got some bad news...
- Phil Davis? I just saw him yesterday!
- Yeah. Didn’t help, he got evicted anyway.
- Yeah let’s go.
- Well we should go talk to him, see if he’s okay.
- I get it buddy I've been there myself
- Meanwhile at the park Sally is comforting a grief-stricken Phil.
- ...and then I find out the reason I got evicted was because the rent went up the hour before I paid the rent!
- Just then George and Wilbert arrive.
- Yeah, for example; volunteering at a soup kitchen, delivering clothes to a shelter, or just going around town handing out supplies to the homeless people you come across. There is also a list of resources at austintexas.gov that's helpful.
- Hey man, don't worry there are lots of ways to help.
- GUYS! I GOT ACCEPTED TO LIVE IN COMMUNITY FIRST! VILLAGE!
- What's that?
- It's a place where homeless people can go to have a permanent residence. If you want to find out more about them go to www.MLF.org
