- I'm learning new informations aunt.I am looking forward to learn more...
- RESERVOIR ROCK:It is like a storage place where these deposits are stored.It is porous and permeable so, it releases the water , oil, gas from it...
- Over million of years, High temperature and pressure transformed the dead organisms into Petroleum and Natural gas (in the absence of air).. Petroleum also called as "BLACK GOLD"
- Story of Petroleum or Crude oil and Natural gas:Petroleum was formed from the organisms living in the sea. As these organisms died, their bodies settled at the bottom of the sea and covered with layer of sand and clay...
- Above that we have the Impervious rock does not allow to escape any water , oil or gas. It is not porous. Petroleum is taken out by "DRILLING". Petroleum is usually found with mixed salt water. It is dark liquid which has an unpleasant odour. It is a mixture of various constituents such as petroleum gas ,petrol, diesel ,lubricating oil, paraffin wax , etc.....
- That's very interesting aunt!!! So, refining petroleum is done in your factory aunt!!! Am I right?
- How the refinery takes place in factories aunt?
- The deposits are heated up in big cylinders and from each temperature of heating we get different products like LPG, Petrol, Kerosene, diesel, Lubricating oil, Paraffin, wax, Bitumen .
- Yes Alandra , In our factory refining Petroleum takes place. The process of separating the various constituents / fractions of petroleum is known as refining. It's carried out in a petroleum refinery.
- At last I'm going to tell to you about the natural gas. It is important fossil duel because it is easy to transport through pipes.it is stored under under pressure as (CNG) It is used for power generation.it is now used as fuel for transport vehicles because it is less polluting . It is a cleaner fuel.
- These are all Exhaustible resources so, use it wisely always. Try to save them for future generation.
