- During this revolution, people were able to go from hunting and gathering to farming. This revolution involved the domestication of plants and animals. One effect would be that there was a surplus in food.
- During this revolution the industrial revolution was going on. There were many agricultural innovations because of this, the steel plow, the cotton gin, the seed drill, and many more. With these new inventions, less farmers were needed, as a result many of them had to move to cities to find work. One effect would be that they were able to grow more food.
- During this revolution, there was a major increase in crop production because many farmers started using pesticides and fertilizers. Because of these new innovations they were able to altar some crops to fit their needs. An effect of this was that farmers were able to produce more crops on less land. However, the negative effect was that this required a lot of water.
