In my magazine, I covered the more basic conventions that you would usually see. Then also some different ones that I enjoy.
What conventions are in your magazine?

In my cover page i used such conventions to make the cover have the intensity it needs I didn’t challenge these norms as much but changed them a little.

I don't want taekwondo to look like it’s always just big and crazy kicks. When in reality there is a lot more to it than that. Such as respect in taekwondo respect is very important.
How do these changes change the representation of taekwondo

In taekwondo magazines it is common to see male athletes they are portrayed as strong and disciplined
So what exactly is that
Slide: 5
Taekwondo is often perceived as a sport dominated by physical strength and powerful techniques, but there is a significant mental aspect that is equally important. The journey in taekwondo involves not only developing your body but also nurturing your mind. Training demands patience, resilience, and the mental fortitude to push through the challenges and obstacles you encounter along the way. As you practice, you'll find that each hurdle can teach you valuable lessons about discipline and perseverance.
Slide: 6
This holistic approach to training is why I’m excited to create a magazine that explores the broader perspective of taekwondo, emphasizing both the physical and mental parts of martial arts. I want to highlight the personal growth that comes through dedication, In time, I believe that readers will appreciate how these elements are and how they contribute to becoming not just a better taekwondo athlete, but a better individual overall.

Yes I think it worked well as my plan was thought out. Going beyond the traditional view of male athlete's being all about strength. Showing real story’s of taekwondo that is not all about just winning it shows growth and learning. How these men are not just only strong but smart.
Do you think this approach was successful.
