- *sigh* Why does no non-metal want to share their electrons with me?! All I need is 1 more, 1 more valence electron!
- *sigh* All my friends have found someone to bond and filled their valance shell with 8 electrons but me...still no one

- Oh snap, it's Chlorine! I've never asked him if he wanted to bond! Oh I do hope he accepts.
- All of my metal friends and most of my non-metal friends have already bonded so I was wondering if you wanted to bond with me. If we share the single electrons we have, we can both fill our valance shell with our desired number of electrons. I also heard that your electronegativity value is 3.2....since yours is greater than mine I'll even give you the privilege of naming our compound name.
- Hydrogen! You were right to assume that I haven't bonded with anyone yet haha. If I am being honest, I am pretty desperate to bond with someone and you don't seem like a bad element at all so...why not! Our compound name will be Hydrogen Chloride!!

- We are now polar molecules and since I have a greater electronegativity value, I attract the electrons more, making me "sorta negative". You would be "sorta positive" since you have a lower electronegativity value and-WAIT WHAT!

- Hmmm, I think I've read about what's happening to us. If what I read is true then our electrons aren't shared equally which is why we have these weird symbols above our head

- You guys must me so confused so allow me to explain. We are you from an alternate universe. We don't have a lot of time to explain but those "sorta charges" that appeared above your head sent us a signal and that's how we got here.
- Anyway I am rambling so let me get to the point. We have come here to help you understand the powers you have acquired , the "Dipole-DIpole force". On the scale in our universe, it is the second strongest force and I am very sure it applies here too. You boys are in for a real treat!
