The Life of a Minerin theGold Rush
Most miners had to sail for 5 months in order to make it to california for the Gold Rush.
It has been many weeks of sailing and I don't think I sail for that much longer.
Lots of people made it to California with big expectations for becoming rich but most weren't able to meet them.
I have finally made it and can now start my search for gold and become rich.
After a few weeks of searching for gold a lot of Miners were introduced to the harsh environment of poor food, exaggustion, and high competition to finding gold.
It has been 2 weeks and I have barely gotten enough gold to supply myself with food. I don't know how much long I can go on mining everyday
It seems that all of the gold has been found and I am running out of food and energy to keep mining. This might be the end for me!
As lots of people swarmed to California the Native Americans living there were forced off their land and a total of around 120,000 of them died. As the miners kept searching and reducing the gold supply many people soon realized that they wouldn't be able to reach their goal of becoming rich.
Despite there being a very low chance of becoming rich off of the gold rush there was still a few very lucky people who did.
Eureka! I found a jack pot of gold and my mission to becoming rich has been completed.
