No, what is it?
It made Maine a free state and Missouri a slaves state. It also made a line right at the bottom of Missouri. Any state on the top of that line is a free state and anything under is a free state
that doesn't really solve the problem of slavery though

actually yes, it's called the compromise of 1850. It added California as a free state . Utah and New Mexico were added as territories and they could choose if they wanted slavery or not. It made slave trade in Washington dc illegal. The problem with texas land dispute was resolved. Finally the fugitive slave act became stricter.

Actually their is!It's called the Kansas Nebraska act. It got rid of the Missouri compromise that I told you about last time and it allows of the people of the state to decised if they will be a slave or free state. It also added the kansas and nebraska territories.
