Storyboard Text

  • Slide: 1
  • Our atmosphere has carbon dioxide in it.
  • First, the light has to be captured by the plant, then the plants absorb the CO2 and turns it into food which is also called glucose. This is also called Photosynthesis.
  • Oxygen is those put out
  • Slide: 2
  • After the photosynthesis happens, you will see an animal, like our sheep, does cellular respiration
  • The sheep is eating the plant which is giving it carbon, then while the sheep breathes, CO2 is released.
  • Slide: 3
  • Sadly, the sheep is now dead, but the mushroom you see on the left it will now break down the sheep's dead body. Because there is carbon inside the sheep it now will be released into the air. The mushroom is performing decomposition. This is also like a food chain since the mushroom consumes the sheep.
  • Slide: 4
  • Humans contribute to this problem a lot more than other examples because we are the ones that are doing combustion, and that is what burns fossil fuels.
  • A good example fossil fuels is this train, because when you use this train, it puts carbon dioxide in the air and since people use trains daily, lots of extra co2 is getting released into the atmosphere. This can also be fossilization.
  • Slide: 5
  • Diffusion is when gases with carbon in it move between the oceans surface and the atmosphere. What is happening here Is an example of that.
  • Slide: 6
  • Now this plant will restart the carbon cycle and start doing this by performing photosynthesis. This cycle will keep on repeating over and over again.
