- Dr. Jose Rizal and his sister Lucia arrived in Manila, Philippines, from Europe through Hong Kong on June 26, 1892. Then he went to Malacaang Palace to visit Governor-General Eulogio Despujol, only to be apprehended by officials.
- Noooooo. (Crying)
- Good-bye, my dear sister.Look after yourself.
- MOVE FASTER!!!

- Please retrieve my remains after the execution and bury it with one stone and a crucifix at the foot of the mountain, dear dear mother. I apologize for anything I've committed. Love you and farewell.

- Rizal's final hours. Captain Rafael Dominguez read Rizal's death sentence at 6:00 a.m. on December 29, 1896, with a fire squad shooting him in the back at 7:00 a.m. Bagumbayan is a town in the Philippines.
- Look within yourself before you apprehend him. All he wanted was for Spaniards and Filipinos to be treated equally.
- That anybody who goes and the will of the country shall be punished and sentenced to death! Dr. Jose Rizal is entitled to it!!
- Don Jose Rizal Mercado y Alonso is sentenced to death by this court!!!

- "Consumatum est!" exclaimed Dr. Jose Rizal before the shots were fired. (It's completed!). When the bullets reached their mark, Rizal made one final attempt to turn around, dropping motionless on the ground with his back to the sky.
