- Hi! I'm Dante and I'm going to take you on my life adventure as a water droplet.
- As a water droplet I go through a process known as the Water Cycle!
- When the sun warms me up, I begin to evaporate (disappear). Evaporation is the process of changing from a liquid to a gas.
- I can also enter the atmosphere through transpiration. This is when the water that is sucked up into plants leaves, evaporates.
- After I evaporate into the atmosphere (the sky), I begin to condense. When air cools, water vapor (new me) condenses into tiny droplets to form clouds. This process is called condensation.
- When the soil can not hold any more water, the extra water will flow across the surface known as runoff. Runoff falls into river, lakes, and oceans. Runoff helps create me.
- When I grow big enough, gravity will pull me down and it will start to rain, sleet, hail, or snow. This process is called precipitation.
- Water cycle, Water cycle, its a never ending cycle. Water cycle, water cycle, its a never ending cycle. Evaporation, then what, condensation, then what, precipitation, then what, then what!
