My word! That man is being drawn by a horse with wheels!
1800s
By John Shapiro
This first act would propel the car industry. The horse and buggy was the first act, which brought the idea of the car into reality. Though the first horse cart to be created was by the ancient Mesopotamians, this is really where the car industry would plant its roots. It served as an example and a dream of what could become of this great new invention.
My heavens, this model T is fantastic and sure doesn't pollute the environment.
1908
The first car to ever be created was the Model T made and invented by Henry Ford. Only the wealthy would be able to purchase one of these fine motor vehicles for a hefty price back in 1908. These vehicles would be made slowly due to the lack of technology. This would have an impact on many people by changing they way they got around from place to place, making the world much more modernized. This would also environmentally change the world by polluting the atmosphere with the exhaust produced by these massive vehicles.
Modern Day
Nowadays, cars are everywhere. With over 42 unique car brands, based all over the world, the industry has risen from a small barely functioning station wagon, to a large industry with cars that can reach over 200 miles per hour. These car brands now manufacture their cares by machine, having the supply met for the demand. Cars are a common sight and actually have mad massive impacts to other things as well. One of them being the environment. With all these cars come the burning of fuel and green house gases being burned into the air. This is a growing problem that leads to global warming and polluted areas of the world. None the less, this industry has grown into multi trillion dollar brands that supply a necessity some might say, in today's world.
