- It is important for teachers to choose assignments that students have an understanding of and allow them to learn more by doing . they are actively engaged because they chose the topic to learn more about. They have a rubric to follow answering higher level questions and I am able to assess them on different skills through out the project.

- I strive to meet this standard because it allows for my students to think critically, all students are able to meet the needs no matter their learning levels, assessments are rigorous and followed by a rubric for students to know what is expected, students are engaged and are learning to work with a peer collaboratively.
