The Wizard of Oz
Storyboard Text
- Dorothy lived in Kansas with Uncle Henry, Aunt Em and her pet dog, Toto. One day a cyclone hits her house.
- The cyclone carries Dorothy's house to the Land of Oz and lands in the country of the Munchkins on The Wicked Witch of the East which kills her. She meets The Good Witch of the North who kisses Dorothy and leaves a protection mark of her forehead.
- If you want to return to your home you must go to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard of Oz. And take the the silver shoes of the Wicked Witch of the East.
- I want to go back home.
- Dorothy meets the scarecrow and helps him to get down from the pole he is hung on. She explains to him about where she is going and decides to go on with her journey along with the scarecrow.
- I am going to The Emerald City to see The Wizard of Oz so that I can ask him to help me go back to my home.
- I f he can help me he might be able to give you brains just as easily.
- Do you think he can give me brains?
- Where are you going?
- Dorothy and the Scarecrow met the tin woodman who was unable to move his joints. They helped the woodman by oiling his joints and helping him to move them again. They explain to him that they are going to the Emerald City and the tin woodman asks if he can go along with them to see the Wizard of Oz.
- If he can help me find my home in Kansas and give scarecrow a brain he can give you a heart just as easily.
- I want to have a heart. Can this Wizard of Oz help me?
- We are going to see the Wizard of Oz so that he can help Dorothy go back to her home and give me brains.
- On their way through the forest a lion jumps out and attacks the tin woodman and the scarecrow. But Dorothy is able to calm down the lion and shouts at him. The lion explains that he is a coward and wants some courage. Dorothy then offers the lion to join the in their journey to the Emerald City so that the lion can ask The Wizard of Oz to give him some courage.
- Of course. He might be able to help you too.
- I am a coward even though I am the King of the Beasts. Can I accompany you in your journey to The Emerald City to ask the Wizard of Oz for courage.
- They reached the Emerald City and told the Wizard for what they wanted.
- The Wizard said that their wishes will be granted if they kill the Wicked Witch of the West.
- Once you have killed The Wicked Witch of the West I will grant your wishes.
