- Ryan and Tyler became best friends over the next few weeks. Soon Tyler’s thunderstorm had turned into a bright sun! Ryan was happy to have helped Tyler feel less alone and overcome his thunderstorm. Ryan learned that it is okay for people to be sad and upset, but it is important to be there for them and help them feel understood. She learned that even the harshest of thunderstorms can be calmed with love, attention, care, and offering a shoulder to lean on.

- Ryan and Erica quickly became friends and in no time Erica’s rain cloud had been replaced by a sun. Ryan was proud of herself for being able to make Erica happy and feel more welcomed at a new school. She decided to see who else she could help. While Ryan was walking in the halls she saw a boy in her class named Tyler with a rain cloud over his head surrounded by a group of boys.
- During gym that day Ryan chose to be team captain and picked Tyler to be on her team as her first pick. Tyler was happy to be picked for a team first. They ended up winning all their games with Tyler being the best player, even Alex and his friends congratulated him on his amazing dodgeball skills.
- The boys turned to Tyler and said sorry for the way that they treated him. They felt bad for how they had treated him and asked Tyler if he would want to come play dodgeball with them after school and be friends. Tyler said yes with a smile and thanked Ryan for being there for him and helping him when no one else did.
