- One day, Maya was sitting in her room planning on going on a camping trip in the forest. She overheard some information on the news and decided to watch for a while. The news reporter was talking about two murderers that recently escaped from jail and are nowhere to be found. This scared Maya a little and she was hesitating about going on the trip but she decided to just go anyways. Maya was in the forest and she was walking for a long time. She didn't know where she was so she decided to stop and look at the map in her bag. She then noticed something, her bag isn't as heavy as it was before . She looked deeper into the bag and saw big rip at the bottom, so her things must've fallen out. Maya started to panic, she retraced her steps to maybe find something but she didnt. She was looking for over two ours until she gave up. Maya sat and started to think about her next move. It was getting dark and she was running out of time. She decided to keep walking and maybe finding her way out.
- As she was walking she found a campground, she was extremely relieved. She got closer to look if anyone was there, she found a couple camping. Their names were Sarah and rex, she told them about her situation and they said they didn't have a phone for help but it was okay for her to sleep in one of their tents for the night. She was extremely grateful, she decided to go over to them and thank them one more time before going to sleep. When she reached the tent she overheard them talking about something extremely shocking. She heard the couple admit they were the murderers on the news and that maya was their next victim. Maya stood there frozen for a second, her first thought was to run. she ran and ran not knowing where she was going at all.
