This act was passed by Parliament of Great Britain. British legislation worked at ending the smuggling trade in sugar and molasses from the French Indies. They introduced new trade restrictions trying to cut down on smugglers.

A deadly riot between British soldiers and citizens. It occurred on King Street. Soldiers shot and killed citizens while allegedly being harassed. No one really knows who initiated the fight.
Boston Massacre- March 5, 1770
Political protest occurred on December 16 in 1773. It happened at Griffins Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts. The protest was lead by the Sons of Liberty. They dumped 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
