- Im a Worker for a US industry, I work gruesome hours every day with little to no pay. They have us make textiles, which leaves clouds of cotton and dust that we breath in causing us to get sick.
- Clouds of dust filling the air. We inhaled it in our lungs We industrialized iron ores and textiles, after new machines less workers were needed. Rapid industrialization caused poor living standards. The old industries expanded and many new ones emerged. The production was on a small scale. We called it the cottage industry. The textile industry improved the production of clothing.
- railroads were damaging Native Americans' lifestyle and religion. They thought of it as destroying the way of life. The American tried to americanize Native americans. The American westward movement impacted American indians. There was a problem from the result, it continued westward expansion.
- I am from a native american tribe. My land is being destroyed so railroad expansions can be built. They are making us cut our hair, wear american clothes, and more so we fit into the US society.
- The railroads running from east-west are ruining their land!
- Workers were angry about the poor working conditions, low income and lots more. Industrial workers, knights and American federalists striked as a defense but that ended up not working out. American feds tried collective bargaining as well.
