The Jade Princess
Storyboard Text
- The once peaceful valley of Jade Valley had been sent signs of war from their neighboring kingdom, the kingdom of Cloud. The Cloud kingdom had a great army so the Jade needed all of the help they could get. Unfortunately for the Jade princess, that meant her fiance, Erik, had to go. They both knew this day would come. With a saddened heart, the brave soldier trudged off down the hill.
- As the princess prayed and hoped her fiancee would return safely, a fairy appeared on her bed. "For a fair price, I can grant you any one wish!" The fairy told the princess. The princess thought long and hard, "I wish to control both the Cloud and Jade kingdom." The fairy smiled and left saying, "I'll be back tomorrow to claim my payment!"
- The next morning, the fairy appeared. "Hello, let's talk payment." The fairy seemed different from last night. "What fancies you? I can give you gold?" The Jade princes asked the fairy. "I'm not interested in gold. How about something more permanent." She thought long and hard. "I know! I want to be your right hand as you rule over this fine land!" All the Princess could say was "okay."
- With a clap of the fairy's hands, they were both at the gate of their castle, and Erik was unharmed. The battle was over, everyone was safe. The Jade Princess was however not able to become queen without marriage. She was glad to have Erik back. They planned the biggest wedding and invited all of the people to attend.
- The newlyweds were now king and queen of the new kingdom that was going to be a peaceful, happy place. There was no more Cloud and Jade Kingdom, Only the Asterin Kingdom.
- After two wonderful years, the loving couple was now in charge of the most beautiful, peaceful kingdom ever. They had created the perfect place for their child.
