- In 1969, Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe) went to seek a medical abortion in Texas but was denied procedure because it was only legal if she were in harm to have the baby.
- Sorry Ma'am, under state law you can't do that unless for health reasons
- I would like to terminate this pregnancy.
- I'm suing you on behalf of all women trying to seek abortion, OUR BODY, OUR CHOICE
- After her being rejected, Jane Roe and her attorney filed a lawsuit against the District Attorney of Dallas County TX, Henry Wade stating that anti-abortion law violated the Constitution.
- The state law violates the Constitution, Henry.

- After the Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade, lower courts now have to follow that a women's privacy to abortion is protected under the 9th and 14th amendment, and that the choice is now between a woman and her doctor.

- Because of the successful ruling in favor Roe, Women now had full protection in to getting an abortion and this case impacted America greatly along with Women's rights.
