A boy who has recently discovered but kept quiet his sexuality goes to church with his friends.
Wait I am going to Hell for something I can not control?

Being gay is a choice and those who do this sin will be sent to Hell.
What should we do about the rise in homosexuals?

The boy feels alienated from his peers, who enjoyed the church service. He lost a spiritual connection that he hoped his local church would provide and had his views on religion permanently altered.

Macklemore releases "Same Love", and the boy finally sees some positive representation that he desperately needed. He had assumed that most people were homophobic, but now he is realizing that it is not the case.
Maybe it will all be okay.
