Romeo is entranced by Juliet, while she hasn't noticed him, Mercutio is a bit worried as she's a Capulet and Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, is angry as Romeo, a Montague, is staring at her, due to the families' feud.

Tybalt wants to fight Romeo, but he declines, and Mercutio, losing his temper, decides to fight him themselves and ends up dead when Romeo tries defending him, the first big turning point in the story.

Romeo is watching Juliet, again while she hasn't noticed him, and giving a speech on his love for her, and she is doing the same for him, talking about how if they get together she will no longer be a Capulet and is defying her father.

Friar Lawrence, understanding their love for each other, helps them by marrying them together, whilst not thinking about the possible consequences of this.
Juliet has already married Romeo, meaning she cannot marry Paris, but her dad refuses to listen. They have a big fight, and her father has already banished Romeo, which leads them to resort to desperate measures, she fakes to be dead, the Friar's plan.
The Friar tries to help them escape the marriage, by giving her a potion which makes her seem dead to people, and sent a letter to Romeo explaining this, which never reached him. He visits her tomb, and thinking she is dead, he kills himself, she awakes and kills herself.
