- turn over, put pillow on your head, and wait.

- Room - Air ventilation
- open windows, clean the room, and air it.
- if you are in beed during a hurricane if your in bed, and have no precautions in place, turn around, put a pillow above your head, and wait till the hurricane passes.
- Kitchen
- cover your windows with shutters, and if needed apply plywood on your windows to prevent the windows from shattering.
- Front door
- disinfect mold by opening widows, airing, and wiping down surfaces. this will prevent the growth of mold.
- Living room - communication
- After a hurricane you must drink tap water, since it may be unsafe. Tune into local warnings to find out. If the power goes out double check to see if anything in the fridge has gone bad, and try to take precautions before hand.
- don't drink tap water, listen to radio, check fridge, and freezer
- make sure to secure anything placed outside by putting it in a garage, or any safe storage place.
- after a hurricane use a radio for any guidance. if you need information on anything, or need to know what precautions to take tune in!

- don't turn on gas, keep first aid kit nearby, and find a safe place just in case

- never turn on gas after a hurricane. Turn a generator on, at least 20m outside your home, this will reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Make sure to make an evacuation space preferably in a basement where the chance of water coming in is low, and keep a first aid kit nearby.
