Storyboard Text

  • O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?Deny thy father and refuse thy name.Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my loveAnd I’ll no longer be a Capulet.
  • Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?
  • I take thee at thy word.Call me but love, and I’ll be new baptized.Henceforth I never will be Rome
  • What man art thou that, thus be screened in night,So stumblest on my counsel?
  • My life were better ended by their hateThan death proroguèd, wanting of thy love
  • If they do see thee, they will murder thee.
  • Juliet talks her feeling out towards Romeo and she doesn't know that he's there listening.Juliet expresses all the love she has for Romeo. Juliet also says that if Romeo ever expresses and swears on his love for her she will no longer be a capulet. Hearing that Romeo says to himself if he should listen or go in front of Juliet.
  • Neither, fair maid, if either thee dislike
  • My ears have yet not drunk a hundred wordsOf thy tongue’s uttering, yet I know the sound.Art thou not Romeo, and a Montague?
  • What shall I swear by?
  • Then, Romeo comes to Juliet and says that if Juliet admitted her love towards Romeo he would change his name. Juliet then says who are you and why he's listening to her private thoughts in the dark.
  • O gentle Romeo,If thou dost love, pronounce it faithfully. if thou think’st I am too quickly won,I’ll frown and be perverse and say thee nay,So thou wilt woo. But else, not for the world.
  • After that Juliet says if anyone sees Romeo here they will kill him. Romeo replies with he would rather let them kill him than have to live without Juliet's love.
  • O blessèd, blessèd night! I am afeard,Being in night, all this is but a dream,Too flattering sweet to be substantial.
  • Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow,By one that I’ll procure to come to thee,Where and what time thou wilt perform the rite,And all my fortunes at thy foot I’ll layAnd follow thee my lord throughout the world.
  • Juliet tells Romeo that she hasn't heard him say a hundred words yet but she recognizes his voice and said aren't you a Montague?.Romeo says he's not any of these if Juliet dislikes it. Which he means that he's not going to be a Montague or Romeo if she dislikes it.
  • Juliet expresses her feeling by asking Romeo if he really loves her and if he's serious about it. She tells him that he thinks that she's too easy to win her heart. Romeo asks her what she should swear by for him to believe her.
  • Romeo and Juliet say good night to each other since the nurse is calling for Juliet.Romeo thinks it's a dream because it's dark which Juliet says if you want to marry me send me a word tomorrow.
