- St Paul was born and brought up Jewish. He went to school and studied religious scriptures and Greek philosophy. He worked as a tent maker in Jerusalem and wanted to follow a path to happiness.
- Paul was converted by a christian between the years 31 - 36 AD. He saw light pouring from heaven and became blind for days afterward before fasting and regaining his sight by a christan. The healing made him devote his life to spreading the word of jesus.
- St Paul seperated Judiasm from Christianity. He travelled around the mediterranean Basin to spread the teachings of christ. He made Ephesus the central place for his missions. He also made his most well known speech criticising the Pagen religion when he visited Athens.
- in 57 AD he was arrested in Jerusalem after controversy surrounding chirstianity. He was held in prison for two years. He was eventually released after verifying he was a roman citizen. He spent those years writing letters to the early church.
- Even though how he died remained a mystery. We can guess that St Paul was beheaded and died between 64 and 67 AD.
- St Paul's word of god lived on through the power of the bible. Paul was considered the biggest influence of christianity after Jesus. He wrote 14 of the 27 books in the New Testament.
