- Ok so catalyst is a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.

- Alright now that we are here I will give you an example of a catalyst. Right here there is an ice tray usually it takes a while for it to freeze however with a catalyst reaction the process will speed up.
