- Here is a little diagram of the rock cycle!
- It’s starting to rain rocks!I’m getting compressed and I’m heating up!
- Good moring all, as you can see, now I am a grown rock, I’m a metamorphic rock. Now I’m gonna go to an excursion. Come with me!
- I think it is going to erupt!
- I’m inside the volcano! Ahhhhh, I’m melting!
- Now we are on an active volcano. Inside there is a lot of magma. What I’m gonna do, to complete the cycle is, I will go inside where I will be in 700 degrees Celsius, so then I will melt. Then, I will wait till the volcano erupts. So when I go out to the surface, I will cool down and become an igneous rock!
- Yay! Today I will grow up and become a metamorphic rock!
- It’s time to go to sleep, and during my very year long sleep, I will be under between 300 and 700 degrees Celsius. But as you may know, I still need one more thing to transform… I need pressure! But I have it all covered it up, I looked up at the ‘rock’s weather forecast’ and it says that it comes a rock shower! So perfect, let’s see you then!
