- ClimaxMaya and Nurzhan's father were furious when they learned that Nurzhan had gotten into a fight, despite the fact that Maya tried to help Nurzhan by not saying everything their principal said. Maya's father caught her hugging and being around a boy a few days later. Her mother and father were now both enraged at her and Nurzhan. Maya's mother is later injured at work, and it is now Maya's responsibility to complete all of her work.
- Falling ActionMaya is stressed and exhausted from doing all of her mother's work. Her father was outraged because she almost burned the food. Her mother stood up for her and told their father that what he was doing was wrong, and she almost burst into tears. Maya later used the permission slip as scratch paper while assisting Nurzhan with his homework. Nurzhan recognized it as a slip for the dance and told Maya he would persuade their father to sign it so she could attend because she had helped him and had been through a lot. Nurzhan was able convince their father to sign it, and he agreed to let her go only if Nurzhan could accompany him.
- ResolutionMaya agreed to let Nurzhan chaperone, and her mother gave her a bracelet that belonged to her mother. She wore it to the dance, and if anyone asked why Nurzhan was there, Maya would say she was looking after him. Nurzhan later stays in the restroom until the dance is over, while Maya has a great time with her crush at the spring fling dance all thanks to Nurzhan.
