  • The stupid grin he has almost looks like he says "I just killed a rabbit, I will kill innocent little children now." And checking on the backyard, laying perfectly well on a compost pile, is a filthy and musty old dead ahh pet bunny rabbit. Now this is where things get from uphill to downhill or for you idiots, from bad to I don't know how bad this is now.
  • =the dead bunny
  • The oh so stupidly plastered grin on Rusty seemed to repeat a message over and over, in a loop. "I found a dead rabbit. I found a dead rabbit." Your dad meanwhile is trying to shoot Rusty but he can't. He can't do it. This is where everything topples. Your dad takes him to the vet who will do the job he can't do into their hands. You wave farewell to Rusty and you keep thinking to yourself that he was an idiotic dog. Idiotic but awesome. At the same time, your mum takes action. Grabbing the rabbit, she washes the grime off of it in the kitchen and blow dries the wet fur and makes sure it's all fluffy and such. It almost seems as if the rabbit is really back to life again.

  • Around when your mum finishes washing and cleaning the now clean rabbit, your dad comes back from the vet, the Ford empty of Rusty and the only sound filling the air is an eerie silence that seems quite loud. Your dad takes the rabbit from her hands and props it up inside its cage where it seems like it's eating a carrot.
  • You just proceed to go home. Not even watch the fight over the movies, just heading to your room and disappearing into sleepland. There's no chaos in the house, just the same eerie silence from before, yet you do not pay any attention to it as you sleep.
  • The following morning, you wake up. The Unruhs are back and your dad is giving them time to settle back down, like for unpacking their Volvo and putting things back inside or just putting their stuff away into the garage. As your mum is trying her best to thaw a frozen loaf of zucchini bread, the house is yet again, dead silent. No eye contact, no conversations, nothing.

  • As your mum kept trying to thaw the loaf of zucchini bread, your dad is in the backyard, disposing the dog turds and you assist him by holding a plastic bag. As the two of you are cleaning the backyard up, Dr.Unruh is digging a burial hole for the dead bunny rabbit. As your dad picks the turds up, he asks Dr.Unruh about the trip. He answered that it was fine, the trip was okay but he mentioned that something abnormal happened.
  • Your dad fiends great interest in the current topic, as Dr.Unruh states that somebody or someone had dug up their dead rabbit and made it seems all back to life and all that. As your dad hears that, his voice cracks and breaks. "Dug it up?" he asks and Dr.Unruh confirms that it was dug up. "Yes, it died last Thursday." Last Thursday which meant before they left. You glance at your dad's face to see the look on his face. He looks like that bird that can't fly but is trying to flap his wings to fly. "I didn't know. I didn't know," was his only reply at you.
