- Thanks Howard for your help. I will call the dog, Wishbone!
- Finally you have it.
- Charlie is a girls that made the same secret wish everyday. She lives in the city with her Mom and Dad. Her father now is in jail and his mother in depression. A social worker came to send her to live with her aunt Bertha and uncle Gus in a farmhouse.
- Climax
- Hi Charlie. You can return home with your mom.
- Charlie doesn't know her aunt and uncle. She feels forgotten in a small town far away from everything that she knows, while her sister live a perfect life. Charlie struggles with her anger and worries. It doesn’t seem likely that her wish will ever come true due to this situation.
- Falling Action
- You can stay with us!
- Charlie sees a little dog that lives in the woods, and captures her heart. She is determine to catch it with the help of her new friend Howard, Charlie catches the dog and name it Wishbone.
- Resolution
- My wish come true!
- Charlie's sister comes to visit her. After that the social worker comes to take Charlie back to live with her mom. Charlie wants to stay with her aunt and uncle.
- I want to stay here with my Wishbone and friends.
- Bertha notify Charlie that her mom will not be able to take care of her. Charlie can stay with the foster family, friends and Wishbone.
- Charlie choose to live with her aunt and uncle. She told to her friends the good news. That night Charlie, Bertha and Gus sat out on the porch. Bertha said that she has the family of their dreams. Charlie realized that her wish, for a real family, had finally come true.
