- Movement- They can only move sideways which makes animals think the crab can't see them, but the crab can kill in all directions
- Exoskeleton- makes it hard to crush the crab(because the shell)
- Laying eggs- Lady crabs find responsible spots for their eggs and protect them. But they lay out thousands of eggs which helps their population
- Color Concealing-helps crabs blend in with their environment
- Claws-Their claws help them grab and kill their pray easier
- Their smell- they can smell over a kilometer away which helps them not starve and find pray easier
- Thick layers- They have thick layers of fur and fat to keep warm
- Small surface of area- this helps them keep their warm temperatures in their body
- Paw size-They have big paws which helps balance their weight evenly when they are walking on ice. This prevents the ice from breaking
- White fur-this helps them blend in with their where environment
- Muscular shoulders-This helps them gain speed when chasing after an animal
- Slaws-They have long curled claws which helps them with climbing
- Fur- They have thick layers of fur to help them stay warm
- Smell-Has a good smell which helps while they are hunting
- Strength-helps them move rocks and things to make a good place for them to hibernate
