- Chapter 13
- In chapter 13 Brian goes looking for some foolbirds to kill. While he was looking for them he saw a mama bear with it's cubs and 4 wolves. Brian nodded to each wolf, Brian was not the same now- he had changed ever since the crash. The fire went out, he had forgotten to eat, and he was still scarred from the plane Briancut himself, hoped he would die and tried to sleep. When he woke up he immediately regretted what he did and decided to make a bow to kill some fish. Once he finally mastered killing fish he couldn't stop eating them, this was his first feast day.

- Chapter 14
- In chapter 14 Brian was just chilling in his cave when he heard and saw a skunk. The skunk was trying to dig up Brian's eggs! Brian quickly acted by throwing sand at the skunk, but that was a huge mistake. Brian got sprayed and lost all of his precious eggs to the skunk. After trying to get the smell off for about a month, he realized that he needed to protect his shelter more and store his food somehow. As a result Brian made a wall and door for his home and he also made a food shelf and lastly he made a pen in the water to store fish.

- Chapter 15
- In this chapter, Brian realizes that the days are getting shorter and Brian is getting hungrier and hungrier for some real meat. In result, Brian spends hours making a bow and some arrows. Sadly Brian doesn't have any feathers yet, but that will come with the prize. Brian spends the whole day trying to figure out how to kill these foolbirds. At last Brian finally succeeded and peeled that bird's skin like an orange. Brian claimed that out of all the hamburgers he had eaten he has never ate any meat that good before.

- Chapter 16
- In chapter 16 Brian was just washing a bird he had just killed and when he looked back he saw a massive brown furry body standing behind him. Brian immediately got pushed in the ribs into the water. Brian's eyes and ears were covered with mud and when he looked at the thing who did this to him, he saw a moose. Brian noticed the sharp pain in his ribs and he knew that this moose has hurt him real bad. Every time Brian tried to move the moose's hair would stick up. Brian slowly got out of there and he went back to his shelter to recover from this pain. Brian then heard a roaring noise and when he checked to see what it was it was too late. Brian realized it was a tornado and it was coming for him! Brian's tools went everywhere and all of his stuff was gone except the hatchet that remained on his belt. Brian saw the lake's water go in the air in the most beautiful and scary way. After the tornado was over Brian saw the plane's tail sticking out, and that's when he remembered the pilot was still in there somewhere. Brian immediately felt sorrow and sent prayers to the pilot in his head.

- Chapter 17
- In chapter 17 Brian was still recovering from the tornado and the moose, finding and making his tools again, reloading the fire, feeding himself. When Brian thought about the plane he realized that in the tail there was a survival pack! Brian then made a raft and tried to go in and connect the raft to the plane, but Brian eventually got too tired and went back to camp to watch the sunset and eat some fish. The next day Brian went back to the lake and tied the raft to the plane, he looked underwater and saw the pilot. Brian tried looking everywhere to find an opening, but there was no luck, he was blocked out.

- Chapter 18
- I'm seeing colors...
- In chapter 18 Brian realizes that the planes aluminum is really thin, so Brian ripped the plane open with his hatchet to get the survival pack. But suddenly his hatchet falls right between his legs into the water! Brian goes through many things to get his hatchet back, he almost drowns trying to get it, because the lake is so deep! Eventually Brian finds the survival pack but he sees the pilot's face getting eaten off by some fish and is absolutely disgusted by it. Brian gets out of there as fast as he can, but it takes him a long time because he had been working so hard to get that survival pack. But at last, Brian had the survival pack and was at the front door of his shelter. He had done it.
