- Act 2, Scene 1
- My sister, Viola, has drowned into the ocean where you saved me. I do not care about the future anymore.

- Act 2, Scene 2
- Cesario, please take back the ring you left for lady Olivia. Tell your lord that she will never accept him.
- I left no ring with her. What means this lady? (2.2.17)

- Act 2, Scene 3
- Shall we rouse the night owl in a catch that will draw three souls out of one weaver? (2.3.58-60)
- *singing love song loudly for Sir Toby and Sir Andrew*
- Beautiful. What a sweet and contagious song.
- Sebastian believes his sister, Viola, has drowned into the ocean. Antonio saves him from the ocean, and is willing to be Sebastian's servant on his wandering.
- Act 2, Scene 3
- Sir, go rub your chain and your badge with crumbs
- Olivia tells Malvolio to give back a ring to Cesario when Cesario delivers nothing to her. Cesario is wondering about the purpose of this and finds out that lady Olivia must be in love with him.
- Act 2, Scene 3
- Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and the clown are partying late. Their behaviours are leading to conflict.
- Act 2, Scene 5
- Malvolio goes to Sir Toby and judges him for being so loud at night. He says that he will kick them out if he doesn't change his behaviours. Sir Toby, the clown, and Sir Andrew insult him back.
- If you can separate yourself and your misdemeanors, you are welcome to the house. If not, and it would please you to take leave of her. (2.3.98-100)
- Maria, Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, and the clown are all annoyed by Malvolio, so they decide to make a practical joke on Malvolio by dropping a love letter in Olivia's handwriting to make him a fool.
- I will drop in his way some obscure epistles of love. (2.3.135-36) I can write very like my lady your niece. (2.3.159-60)
- This idea would him come to my lady and act foolishly.
- Sir Toby, Sir Andrew, Maria, and Fabian drop off the letter in Malvolio's way. He picks up the letter, and starts reading.
- His reaction is going to be the funniest.
