- So first to start solving this, we should bring the terms with the variables on the right hand side and the rest to the left hand side. The it should look like this : 5x - 3x = 18 + 2. Then we have to simply the terms to get: 2x = 10. Then we have to bring the 2 to the other side to do division. So after simplifying you will get x = 10.
