- Beginning
- I HATE HER!!!!!
- Flipped is about a girl named Juli and she meets a boy that she really likes named Bryce. Also Bryce never liked her back and thought the was really annoying at a lot of times. Juli also got sad because he hates her.
- Middle
- In the book Flipped, some of the characters are Juli Baker, Bryce Loski and Sherry Stalls. It took place mostly at their houses and their school.
- The End
- In the beginning of the book, Juli moved to town and lived across Bryce. She thought bryce was really cute and she wanted to be friends with him. She was so obsessed with him and he got annoyed so much. They went to school together so he can't really ignore her at all. She always sat on a tree that meant to her a lot and they had to cut it down and she was sad. This is when they were in kindergarten. Juli thought Bryce was walking around with her first kiss.
- Moral and Lesson
- In the middle of the story, Juli got annoyed of Bryce because he got a girlfriend named Sherry Stalls. Eventually, Juli got over him. When she did, Bryce and Sherry broke up. After that he started paying attention more to Juli. After that Bryce realizes that he has feelings for Juli. She doesn't know and she hates him now but Bryce likes her.
- Finally at the end, Bryce's family invites Juli's family over for dinner. Juli had to sit across from Bryce and she didn't like it. They were arguing after dinner. Next day at school Bryce tried to kiss Juli. She got really embarrassed and went home and never left her room. After Bryce came to her house and planted a tree. Juli saw and went and helped Bryce with the tree and made up and are now friends.
- In flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen, the lesson and moral is determination. I think it is determination because in the book, Juli was so determined to get bryce to notice her. She really like him but he didnt like him back until later. Bryce was also determined to make up for her or apologize to her every time he said something mean or made fun of her for something. I think Bryce realized to never judge a book by its cover.
