- It is the big day that the trial about teaching evolution will take place.
- Are you ready sir? There is a lot riding on this Mr. Scopes
- I'm more ready then I'll ever be
- Hello everyone,you are all here to witness the trial of if the scientific theory of evolution should be tought in public schools
- I know you believe that this is the way we should be teaching but its not what we/American citizens should be learning about in school. Recess
- I know that I broke the law by teaching evolution but I don't thing we should be punished. Everyone should know where they came from.
- I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't think the judge will pass the law to make teaching evolution legal
- Maybe they will if you tell them about what will happen to everyone if they did not know how they were created and how they evolved over time.
- John Scopes told the Tennessee Court what will happen if people didn't know how they evolved over vast periods of time and how we are created. So later the law was passed making it legal to teach the theory of evolution.
