- After the previous king passed away, a group of soldiers encounter his ghost and rush to the prince hamlet to tell him the news. Hamlet finds out that his uncle, who has seized the throne, poisoned his father.
- Climax
- Hamlet wishes to show the monarch's guilt in the death of his father by staging a play depicting the king poisoning his father. Hamlet believes the monarch will react in a guilty manner.
- Falling Action
- Hamlet feels the need to avenge his fathers death.
- Resolution
- Claudius leaves after the play to go pray for forgiveness over the murder of Hamlets father. Hamlet ease drops on the prayer and wants to kill Claudius.
- Hamlet accidentally kill Polonius, causing Claudius to want Hamlet dead. Hamlet goes back to denmark and ophelia drowns. Hamlet is challenge to a fight by laeteres, who blames hamlet for his sister and fathers death.
