- If we take a look miles below the surface of the earth we will find metamorphic rock. Metamorphic rock is a layer between the crust and mantle. There is pressure from the crust above and the mantle is heating up the rock. But the mantle doesn't heat up the rock enough to make it go back to magma. So we have a rock called metamorphic rock.

- Roxy tries to make her presentation more enjoyable by adding silly side comments.
- Weathering
- Going back up to the surface, we have a smooth rock. This poor rock has been weathered down over many years. Weathering is when the rock breaks down by nature.
- Roxy is still unsure if her teacher will give her a passing grade. Her classmates are boosting her confidence though, as they yell out encouraging words.
- Mother nature seems to have it out for me.
- Igneous rock
- This is an igneous rock. They form after LAVA SPEWS OUT of the volcano. Then it cools down and hardens up to create this rock.
- As Roxy finished her presentation she looked over at the teacher to see her expression. She looked impressed, which was a good sign. After three days of waiting to see what she got, Roxy was handed her report card. When she got home she opened it and she looked at science. Roxy passed with an A-!! THE END
