- This scene is important because after he receives the news that Banquo was killed, Macbeth starts hallucinating his ghost. Macbeth becomes delusional and tries to argue with ghost and say that he didnt kill him even though he knows deep down that he indirectly did.
- Which one of you did this?
- This scene is important because it shows the witches meeting Hectate and planning to see Macbeth again to tell him more of his prophecy. This meeting will later show that the offspring of Banquo will still become a line of kings despite Macbeth's efforts
- Bring your cauldrons, your spells, your charms,and everything else. I’m about to fly away. I’llspend tonight working to make something horrible happen.
- This scene is important because it is the scene where the murders kill Banquo, but do not succeed at killing Fleance. Fleance fleeing from the murderers is important because he is Banquo´s only son and is the only one who can fufil the prophecy of his their bloodline being kings.
- It will rain tonight.
- Then let the rain come down.
