- The sun peeked through the canopy of trees, casting dappled light on the forest floor. A little girl named Lucy, ten years old, woke up beneath an enormous oak tree. Her head felt fuzzy, and she couldn’t remember how she’d gotten there. The woods around her whispered and rustled with a mysterious life of their own.
